Wayra chooses MainTrack online payment services to enhance web booking capability for customers
Amsterdam, NL - MainTrack Services, a new provider of integrated airline software solutions over the web, has signed with the Peruvian regional carrier Wayra to implement the advanced technology online payment solution. MainTrack's Application Service Provider (ASP) model is a fully managed, hosted solution delivered over the web using the "Martini" concept - applications available "anytime, anyplace, anywhere". MainTrack's services cover the complete aviation domain including self service kiosks, crew and aircraft scheduling, electronic flightbag (EFB) and maintenance. The solution selected by Wayra is the online payment services from Triple Deal and will integrated with another MainTrack partner software, ReservaWeb from CIONS.
"We are delighted to welcome Wayra to the growing MainTrack ASP community," stated Marcel Kalsbeek, joint Managing Partner and co-founder of the MainTrack Group. "Wayra is an exciting project and will be a great showcase for our new technology solutions in South America. We are happy to see the trend for airlines to outsource their IT applications is clearly catching on and Wayra joins over 20 other airlines around the world using our systems to run their day-to-day business. We already have big names who use the MainTrack ASP and we see a large market in South America for new technology reservations, yield management and payment systems. Our concept is beginning to become established around the world as the leading system for start-ups, low cost airlines and regional carriers. We are already working on other new technology developments that will further revolutionise airline IT capabilities, such as our Travel Portal for dynamic packaging of flights, hotels, car hire, insurance, tours and so on."
Offering a completely integrated end-to-end transaction with Triple Deal's payment solution, the system can accept on-line payment instantly using credit cards and debit cards, but also other payment methods like PayPal, iDirect, and in some cases cash payment using local shops for example. This flexibility is key in today's rapidly changing consumer marketplace. The system can implement in a matter of days.
